A Level Year 2


Edexcel A Level Maths past papers (9MA0), mark schemes, mocks and specimens.  All A Level Edexcel Maths past papers (year 2) are displayed below for pure, statistics and mechanics.  There are also model answers/worked solutions.   The current exam setup is 

  • Paper 1 (Pure Mathematics 1).  This paper is worth 100 marks and 2 hrs long.
  • Paper 2 (Pure Mathematics 2).  This paper is worth 100 marks and 2 hrs long.
  • Paper 3 (Statistics and Mechanics worth 50% each).  This paper is worth 100 marks and 2 hrs long.

There was no 2020 and 2021 June paper due to Covid.  They were sat in November 2020 and 2021 instead.

This folder also has the Edexcel A Level Maths Mocks : Set 1, Set 2, Set 3 and Set 4.

This was the first year that exams went back to normality since Covid (2020, 2021 and 2022 were messed up). Students had in person exams for the first time, but were given help with what topics were coming up.
